Where we are

A quiet cul-de-sac in Idle, Bradford. We have a large double driveway with a drop kerb, so there’s space to pull in comfortably. We’ll send the exact address when you book.

How it works

  1. Email us — your car and when you’d like to arrive.
  2. We send a quote — we look up your battery size and the charge level you want (many drivers stop at 80%), including our day and overnight rates.
  3. Pay upfront — bank transfer or cash before we start.
  4. Plug in on the drive — our 7 kW charger runs for as long as we’ve planned.
  5. Afterwards — our app shows how much energy actually went into the car. If you arrived with charge already in the battery, we refund the difference.

What it costs

We’re on a dual-rate tariff at home, so when our electricity is cheaper overnight we pass a discount on to you too.

You pay for the electricity that goes into your car, at whichever rate applies while you’re charging.

Try an example quote

Pick a car, arrival time, and how full you’d like to be when you leave. We quote upfront on our 7 kW charger—then confirm by email before you pay.

Charge only during off-peak (midnight–5am) at 31p. Up to 5 hours (about 35 kWh) per overnight session.

Estimates only—we’ll send the amount to pay by bank transfer or cash before charging starts, and refund if you arrive with more charge than we planned for.

Before you charge

We’re a family sharing our home charger—not a business. We don’t hold commercial insurance for public charging.

Any use of our driveway and charger is at your own risk. That includes your vehicle, belongings, and anyone with you. By booking or plugging in, you accept this.

We reserve the right to deny, refuse, or stop any charging request—whether it is still pending or already in progress.

Please make sure you’re comfortable with that, and that your own insurance and arrangements cover you, before you visit.
